An open-source, modular loudspeaker enclosure system for Wave Field Synthesis (WFS), developed at the Studio for Research in Sound and Technology (SRST) at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). This design supports both classroom and performance applications, and allows users to fabricate enclosures either manually or with a CNC, enabling fabrication across a range of workshop environments.
This is a simple spatial audio player for the Teensy platform. Teensy 4.0 or 4.1 must be used for this to work. Each Teensy is responsible for playing 2 channels of a spatial audio recording. Files are played in perfect synchronicity on all the Teensy boards. This work is the fruit of a collaboration between SRST at RISD (RI, USA) and the Emeraude Team at Inria (France).
FOAFX is a command line tool for applying spatially positioned audio effects to first order ambisonic sound files. It is written with Elementary, a JavaScript framework for writing audio applications, and uses its offline-renderer package. As its input, foafx expects a B-format, 4-channel first order ambisonic encoded file with ACN channel ordering. It supports file normalization either in SN3D or N3D formats.
A Max patch GUI frontend for configuring and running FOAFX is available here ︎︎︎.

The Ear Tone Toolbox is a free collection of instruments that evoke naturally generated tones in the ear. Called difference tones or auditory distortion products, the “ear tones” occur at separate frequencies from the provoking acoustic tones, sound as if they emerge from within the head, and are not physically present in the acoustic space.
CRCLTR (a.k.a. circulator or circle later) is stereo looper firmware for Noise Engineering's Versio eurorack module which uses the Daisy Seed embedded computing platform. It is made with the Max → Gen → Oopsy workflow.
